HelloMarine is a celebrated French artist whose work radiates positivity and invites viewers into a world of joyful escapism.

Born in Paris and raised in the scenic South West of France, her "sunny pieces" carry the essence of her French roots and the spirit of her childhood. Surrounded by the creativity of her father, a photographer, and her uncle, a painter, Marine was immersed in art from a young age.

Her artistic influences also include Henri Matisse, the Fauvists, Margaret Kilgallen, Jonas Wood, and photographers like Hugh Holland or Joseph Szabo, whose works always resonates with her. Beyond these, she draws deep inspiration from the natural world, music, and the unique colours that define our planet.

A big part of Marine’s art comes from the belief that we should never lose our childlike spirit and heart, something she tries to stay close to and capture in her work — that sense of wonder, joy, and playfulness.

After studying Graphic Design at the University of Brighton, Marine went on to establish herself as a successful illustrator, creating artwork for high-profile international clients such as The New York Times, Dior, and Lacoste.

Over the span of her 16 years career, HelloMarine’s artistic practice has evolved from illustration to prints and, most recently, to large-scale canvases. This evolution reflects her ever-expanding artistic vision. In her vibrant paintings, she expertly blends figuration and abstraction, creating works rich in bold colours and dynamic patterns.

HelloMarine currently resides and works in Brighton, UK.
